The front desk when there was very helpful. Was a bit disturbing that at check in no one was available. At one point I thought I locked myself our of my room and no one was there to assist. I had not locked myself out, but still a little unsettling. Compared the rate for the stay with friends that live in Denmark and they thought I paid too much. The hotel is in a quiet rural setting but only a short distance from the main road and Herning town centre is only a few minutes drive away. My room was spacious , comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nonetheless, I was given a room with a shared bathroom in a flat and had to fight with the staff for hours to get the room I had booked with a private bathroom.
