The room was O. K. Nothing special. The view was a rooftop. I enjoyed the seagull visiting me on the rooftop. We were in the "garden" hotel. Never saw a garden. I was a bit disappointed in the room.

I was there for the Juno Beach Ceremony of D-Day. The whole city was great. Being within walking distance of the Juno Beach Centre was fantastic. As well as being able to walk the beach. Good quality places to eat, good for walks along the seafront, lots to see in the town and the various areas close by related to Normandy Landings. The town is exceptionally clean which can be said for the majority of the towns around the whole area.

It was chosen for its location on the Coast, to D-Day landing sites and to WWII cemeteries, few of which we have visited on previous French trips, to pay our respects to those who fell during W.W.II The prices and costs of many things were much higher than where we had spent three weeks, for example the cheapest breakfast was 14 Euros, opposed to eight further South! i am getting on a bit the walk to the beach was a bit much for me, it is a very big beach but no amenites just blocks of rather ugly housing. i did not find any restaurants open seems like Thursday was first day they were open and it was a pizza place which i dont like. As to what would i avoid probably Courseulles Sur Mer!

The property is fairly comfortable to live in. We did have an issue with the property during our stay, however the management company and owner were very helpful and fast to respond to the issues at the property.
